Exploring the cycles of the seasons, the wisdom of the moon, the tradition of the lands and understanding the impact on modern life.

The Celtic Compass

Understanding the traditions and cycles that shaped life for thousands of years.

The Celtic Compass is a learning space for women who want to understand why they often feel different at certain times of the year, and at different points in the monthly cycle of the moon.

For thousands of years people lived in rhythm with the seasons, the turning points of the year, and the changing phases of the moon. These natural cycles shaped daily life, guiding periods of activity, reflection, growth, and rest.

The Celtic Compass explores these cycles through the Celtic festivals, the lunar cycle, and the traditions of the past, helping members recognise the patterns of the year and understand how they can still influence how we feel and live today.

Many women notice subtle shifts in their energy, mood, or perspective as the year turns or the moon moves through its cycle. Certain times bring a sense of renewal, reflection, or rest, even though modern life rarely acknowledges these rhythms.

The Celtic Compass is a place to explore these ancient patterns and understand why they may still influence how we experience the year today.

How the membership works

The Celtic Compass follows the natural cycles of the year.

Each month members receive reflections and teachings connected to two repeating patterns that have shaped human life for centuries: the turning of the seasons and the phases of the moon.

Inside the membership you will receive:

• Seasonal teachings exploring the Celtic festivals and the turning points of the year.
• New Moon reflections looking at the beginning of the lunar cycle.
• Full Moon reflections exploring the midpoint of the lunar cycle.
• Written posts and insights exploring Celtic traditions, folklore, and everyday life in the past.
• A growing library of material that builds over time as the year unfolds.

Most of the material is delivered as written content in The Study Room, allowing members to read and reflect in your own time, either wrapped up and cosy by the open fire, on the clifftop looking out over the ocean or walking through ancient woods.

Members also have access to a private community space where you can share your thoughts, observations, and questions as the year progresses.

The year turns, the moon moves, and we feel it

Why I Created The Celtic Compass

Hi I am Nikki, or more officially Nicola.

I have created The Celtic Compass as I have always been interested in, history, traditions, and the deeper patterns that shape how people experience life.

My ancestry runs through Scotland, Northumbria, Cornwall and Brittany, and over time I became increasingly drawn to the traditions and seasonal patterns connected to these Celtic regions.

I have a long-standing interest in astrology. Since the 1990s I have been fascinated by the way people have looked to the stars and the sky to understand themselves and the world around them. Exploring the meaning of the zodiac and the relationship between celestial cycles and human life was one of the places where my own spiritual curiosity first began.

Alongside this, I have always experienced a strong sense of intuition. I often notice patterns, connections, and insights that seem to come to me naturally,  before I can fully explain why.

Over time I realised that this combination of curiosity, heritage, and intuition was leading me in a particular direction.

The Celtic Compass grew from that journey. It is a place where I can bring together my interest in Celtic traditions, natural cycles, and the patterns that have shaped human life for centuries.
